ALAN, GET A GRIP
Getting this blog up and running has been, shall we say, interesting. There are still lots of things to add, things to learn about, you know, just figure out how blog stuff links up with other web stuff; besides getting the thing to sort of look right. And then I find this:
http://monster.wikia.com/wiki/Gregole
Yes, I naively typed in gregole into a google search only to find that I am a monster – you may read all about my monster characteristics at the link provided (of course there is a monster wiki), and just in time for Halloween!
Besides being a monster and not knowing it, I have also been a bit careless about attribution, and will work a bit harder at posting links at the bottom of blog posts – my proof reading could use some work; and again, I’m still working on this thing.
UPCOMING STUFF FOR THE WEEK
For next week, I plan on at least one book report, maybe some art or photography, and I want to let you know about some of the amazing stuff that’s been going on in architecture you may have missed. Not planning anything for Halloween as we opened it up with a couple of weird corpse poems and somehow managed to slide in the words to a 1985 Slayer song. But check out on the web some of the amazing pumpkin carving mavins out there. This slicing up of pumpkins has become a kind of (serious) art form – I mean there’s money in it!
