The One Mystery

Dark Clouds www.irishviews.com

‘Tis idle! we exhaust and squander
The glittering mine of thought in vain;
All-baffled reason cannot wander

The dead, where are they? In their shrouds –
Man knows no more. Continue Reading

The DAWN spacecraft, the one with the awesome Ion Thrusters, that has already performed an historical orbiting maneuver around the asteroid Vesta located in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, is closing in fast on the largest dwarf planet in the asteroid belt:  Ceres.  Back story here:  https://gregole.com/2015/01/27/mission-to-the-asteroid-belt-codename-dawn/

Ronnie Hawkins – Mary Lou  www.artistdirect.com

You know I’m interested in songs and song lyrics and one particular genre of song is the story song about a particularly “bad” girl in which the male vocalist is either singing to said girl, usually something along the lines of “I’m on to you and I’m not putting up with any more of your nonsense“,  or singing about the girl; possibly as a warning to others – “watch out, she’s nothing but trouble!” Continue Reading

Chicago.  Third largest city in the United States.  The windy city, the second city, the city with big shoulders.

I’ve visited it a couple of times and always had a great time and had a business trip there late last week and over the weekend.  The term “business trip” has two parts:  business and trip.  I’ll be covering the trip part in this blog and the question is; did I have a great time?  Yes, yes, yes!  Because Chicago rocks that’s why.
